Institutional Overview
An Established College With A Focused Purpose
NYCHP is institutionally accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). All three degree programs are registered with the New York State Education Department. The two named Master of Science programs are programmatically accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (ACAHM).
ACAHM does not accredit undergraduate programs or Massage Therapy. Its programmatic accreditation does not include institutional participation in Title IV federal student financial aid programs.

Six trimesters of health sciences, Eastern and Western massage modalities, and supervised clinical education.

View Program Details →Graduate admission requires 11 prerequisite credits. Those prerequisite credits do not count toward either graduate degree. Course availability, scheduling, enrollment status, and transfer-credit evaluation must be confirmed for the applicable trimester.
Program completion does not itself confer licensure or certification. Requirements and accepted examinations vary by jurisdiction.
Learning Environment
Classrooms, Practical Spaces, And Teaching Clinics
The Syosset campus includes classrooms, practical treatment spaces, the Steve Kaufman Library, a bookstore, a physical arts area, a student lounge, academic teaching clinics, and an Herbal Dispensary. Availability and operating schedules should be confirmed with the responsible office.

Patient treatments are performed by student practitioners as part of clinical education under licensed faculty supervision.
