Title IX

In accordance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, New York College of Health Professions does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its educational programs, activities, or employment practices. The College has designated a Title IX Coordinator and Deputy to receive reports, oversee investigations, and ensure equitable resolution of all complaints.

The Title IX Coordinator is responsible for the following:

• Ensuring prompt and equitable resolution of all complaints.
• Conducting investigations into charges of sexual assault, harassment, and discrimination.
• Conducting student outreach on Title IX rights and available resources.
• Overseeing the central reporting process for federal and state compliance.
• Coordinating training, education, and prevention initiatives.
• Facilitating campus-wide collaboration on Title IX matters.

Contact the Title IX Coordinator in any of the following circumstances:

• To seek information or training about your rights and available courses of action regarding potential sexual misconduct, or harassment and discrimination based on race, color, religion, creed, national or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other status protected by federal, state, or local law.
• To file a complaint or make a report of sex discrimination, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, and/or sexual assault, or to file a complaint of harassment or discrimination based on any class protected by federal, state, or local law.
• To notify the College of an incident, policy, or procedure that may raise potential Title IX concerns.
• To obtain information about available resources — including confidential resources — and support services relating to sex discrimination, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, and sexual assault.
• To ask questions about the College's policies and procedures related to harassment, discrimination, sexual discrimination, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, and/or sexual assault.

Training materials and resources for Title IX Coordinator(s), decision-makers, and any person who facilitates an informal resolution process for Title IX complaints are available for review below.

The resources listed on this page represent all trainings made available to New York College of Health Professions' institutional members to facilitate compliance with federal education requirements, including Section 106.45(b) of the 2020 Final Title IX Rule.
